Curly hair routine using the Verb curl collection- hit or a miss?

I have to say I’m pretty excited my package came in a day early, AND I was able to shower and get my hair done before 1.
You know how it is when you get your hands on the package you’ve been waiting on; you feel like a new person!
I had ordered some new hair care products for my curly hair, and I’ve heard some great things about this line, so I wanted to share my experience from one curly sista to another.
So I’m always down to try something new, especially when it comes to curly hair, because I’m still learning about her.
I’m surprised she hasn’t checked out and dashed, leaving my head with all the things I put her through.
I tried to follow the curly girl method only to be left with a sore scalp and frizzy hair; if you have mastered the curly girl method, you go, Queen, that is a lot of work.
Since parting ways with the CG method, my hair has been unbothered and relaxing, and I can’t get over how good she’s looking with minimal effort!
Getting to the new VERB hair products, I have four products to chat about today, and let me put it out there, I’m impressed.
I purchased:
- Verb Curl Shampoo
- Verb Curl Conditioner
- Curl Leave-in Conditioner
- Curl Cream
I got these products when they were on sale, so I was able to save a Lil coin. I’m looking forward to having my Verb products in my haircare lineup.
Let’s jump into the updated curly hair routine using the Verb Curl Collection
The Verb Curl Shampoo

Can you say refreshing?
The smell hit me as soon as I opened my box (only because it had leaked a small amount).
The Curl shampoo helps give your curls a mild cleanse while preserving the moisture in your hair.
Something worth mentioning is the Curl Shampoo is color-safe, and if your curls are fragile from coloring, this shampoo is worth looking into.
The texture of the shampoo is silky, and a little goes a long way.
Since I wash my hair often, I purchased the 32 fl oz, and it came with a pump, a huge plus. I’ve been known to squirt way more than I need, can you relate?
If you’re into a good lathering shampoo, the verb shampoo won’t leave you disappointed.
I was able to get a good lather going with one pump so I can see this shampoo lasting for a while.
After washing the shampoo out, my hair was softish, but my hair was better than before shampooing.
The Verb Curl Conditioner
I don’t know why but the texture of this conditioner reminded me of a melted marshmallow.
Before I scare you off, when the conditioner hit my hair, it was interesting.
I also purchased the 32oz, and I was able to brush my hair more at ease.
Usually, it takes me a while to brush my hair, not with this conditioner.
I didn’t get that greasy feeling I typically get when I apply globs of conditioner to my hair, which was a plus.
The Curl Conditioner is a curl-defining repairing, shine-enhancing, frizz-fighting goddess.
I fell in love with this conditioner, and the texture is different from other conditioners I’ve used.
It feels sticky, but when it hits the hair, it melts into the hair.
The Curl leave-in conditioner
I think I have finally thought of a comparable scent- baby shampoo.
It’s a super delicate scent, but it’s addicting.
The leave-in conditioner states it detangles, protects, and restores your hair.
The texture is runny but applies nicely to the hair and made brushing my hair much more manageable.
The only gripe I have is the size of the leave-in conditioner is on the smaller size.
I will be using the leave-in conditioner more than the curl conditioner, so a bigger size would be ideal.
For those with colored curls, the leave-in is formulated with sunflower seed extract, which protects your color from fading because of the natural UV protection.
After applying the leave-in conditioner, I moved on to the Curl Cream.
The Curl Cream
Again another refreshing scent and small tube!
The awesome thing to point out about this curl cream that is different creams I’ve tried is it’s super lightweight, and my hair isn’t crunchy after using it.
I was able to achieve a good hold, volume and my hair lasted for a few days. I had to touch up in a few areas, but overall I had no complaints.
Overall Thoughts on The Verb Curl Collection

That is my updated curly hair routine using the Verb Curl Collection.
Overall the Verb Curly Hair System has been a hit for my curly hair.
The scent is fantastic and not overpowering.
After cleansing my hair, my scalp feels clean, and my hair is not dry, feeling like I have experienced with a few shampoos.
The conditioner is nice and light; I’m able to run my fingers through my hair without experiencing a lot of shedding.
If I’m in a hurry and don’t have time to apply all of my products to my hair, I will leave them in the conditioner and still get good volume.
If I had to pick 1 or 2 products to try first, I would go for the curl cream and the leave-in conditioner.
The textures and results I have been able to experience with these two products have been addicting.
